Our washbasins

• Cleaning: lukewarm water and a damp cloth are sufficient.
• Remove stains (e.g. from cosmetics or hairspray cans) immediately – use a dirt eraser for rust if necessary.
• To care for high-gloss surfaces: use a standard, oil-free and silicone-free car polish (without abrasives).

• Cleaning agent: standard sanitary cleaner.
• Mineral or metal deposits: Stahl Fix Classic.
• Caution: falling objects can cause damage.

General cleaning recommendations

• It is best to remove dirt immediately with a soft, damp cloth and lukewarm water.
• Then wipe dry – this prevents water spots and unnecessary use of cleaning agents.
• Do not use: aggressive, nitro-based or abrasive cleaners, polishes containing oil or silicone, solvents or waxes.

Surface types and cleaning

• Handles/knobs: Use a mild cleaner and a damp cloth. Do not use chrome cleaners or abrasive cleaners.
• Plastic parts & decorative strips: Use a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Mirrors: A damp chamois leather is sufficient. Heavily soiled? Use glass cleaner – wipe edges dry afterwards.
• Painted surfaces: Only use standard household, water-soluble cleaners. Choose microfiber cloths carefully – no steam cleaners!
• Melamine resin coatings: Soft, damp cloth + lukewarm water; wipe dry immediately. Do not use abrasive, oil- or silicone-based products. Test on an inconspicuous area first.
• Solid wood surfaces: Natural material with individual grain patterns – not grounds for complaint. Ideal humidity: 45–70%. Use only a slightly damp cloth, wipe in the direction of the grain and rub dry. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents or steam cleaners.
